John is an artisan and a gentleman, so happy I found this place. This is the flag you get when you become a citizen, turned out much better than if I’d been left to design the frame without John’s creativity 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I was very nervous to get these 1920's vintage bathing suits framed as I had no idea where to go to make sure that the material of the suit wasn't damaged by some sort of adhesive. As well as I had recently moved to Oceanside and I really didn't know where to go to find the best framer. Well lucky for me, I found Best Frame Shops and John was the perfect person to meet! Not only did he spend several hours with me (as Im super particular, but he also was kind and suggestive with my choices when it came to the framing and matting of both the art and the bathing suits. To say the least I was beyond happy to have that much attention and collaboration from the owner, but also LOOK at how PERFECT my office walls look!!! John and his team did an incredible job and I am thrilled that my new office has turned out as fabulous as I had hoped it would be!!

Best frames did a great job on my large canvas that had warped. They were very understanding and found a perfect color match to make the piece look even better! I highly recommend them.

What a delight to discover John Dupree and his framing and art restoration services. He has framed two lithographs for me and restored a 1920's colored photo and original antique frame. The quality of workmanship, great assortment of framing materials and knowledge of his art created beautifully framed pieces of artwork which I have hung as a group setting in my home. By far the most creative frame shop around. They work with your budget and show you frames that are below your budget as well. The work is masterful. I will never seek another frame shop again.

I had a shadowbox made of some of my husband's momentos. Best Frame Shops did an outstanding job in the most professional manner. I was sent mock-ups by email for my approval which was very helpful in getting what I wanted. They are also very affordable. I highly recommend their services.

I had an item framed recently. It was a difficult process but the people at Best Frame took the time to call me and offer suggestions on how to best complete the job. The man who did the work recommended a few changes that would make the finished product a better fit in the place I planned to hang it. The cost was going to increase somewhat, but the owner said there would be no additional charges. The final product was perfect. A very professional operation all around. Top rate employees and excellent materials. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at this shop! It was no problem to take all the time I needed to pick out the frame that looked best on each piece! The owner is super knowledgeable and supportive of artists, and also gives terrific feedback on what would look the best. And the prices were very fair! I will return, I absolutely love this place!

I have been a fine art collector for over 30 years. My framer retired and I found John Dupree at the Best Frame Shops San Marcos. John has framed over 30 pieces and I must say I am very pleased with his quality, quick turn around and pricing.

Super high quality and customizable museum quality framing at wholesale prices! They’re great and will work with you on framing and mats. Acid free, non glare and acrylic is available as well as floating options that are super cool. If you don’t have an eye for color just describe the room, accent and dominate colors of the room, if your place is modern, contemporary, beachy, or Mediterranean and they will help you select a frame that will look amazing.

Loved the framing these people do! I appreciate their knowledge and time showing me different combinations for each of the various photos and paintings I have brought to them. This is definitely my frame shop!

I had a special painting entitled "Many Rooms" framed here and the framing greatly enhanced the immediate impact of the piece which I entered in a local art contest. I am very pleased with the end result.

This place is fantastic. I already have a couple of additional projects in mind that I will be taking to them. The quality of work and materials is second to none and the price is very reasonable. The selection is also great and if they don't have want you want, they work with you to find it. Everyone I worked with was really great and knowledgeable, helping me select a combination that really created the optimal presentation of my art. It looks really expensive (but wasn't). Wow, I could go on and on with complements on my experience, in summary, you'd be silly to take your framing business elsewhere.
